These are the terms that apply when you visit the Goldenrod Bakery website and place an order. By using the site or ordering, you're agreeing to these terms. If something here doesn't work for you, email us at hello@goldenrod-bakery.com before placing your order.

How orders work

We bake in small batches and sell pre-orders for pickup at scheduled “drops.” When you place an order:

• You'll get a confirmation right after you check out, via email or SMS (whichever you chose).
• We'll send a “your order is ready” message during your pickup window.
• Please arrive within the pickup window listed for your drop.

Payment

Payment happens at checkout, processed by Stripe. The total shown at checkout is the total — there are no surprise fees. Sales tax is applied where required by Massachusetts law.

Refunds & cancellations

Because we bake to order in small batches, all sales are final once preparation begins. That said, we're not robots — if something goes wrong with your order or your plans change, email us at hello@goldenrod-bakery.com and we'll work with you.

SMS communications

By providing your phone number AND checking the SMS opt-in box, you consent to receive text messages from us about your order or any drop reminders you signed up for.

Limitation of liability

We do our best to deliver fresh bread on time and as described. That said, our total liability for any issue related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Any disputes will be handled in Massachusetts courts.

Changes

We may update these terms over time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent version. Continued use of the site or placing a new order means you accept the current terms.
